#LUinVIETNAM
Background
The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, in close cooperation with the Ministry of State, the Luxembourg Embassy in Bangkok (co-accredited in Vietnam), the Honorary Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and BeLuxCham Vietnam will organise an official mission to Vietnam from 3 to 6 May 2023.
This year, Vietnam and Luxembourg celebrate 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries. Vietnam, with its young population of around 100 million people, has the fastest-growing middle class in the ASEAN region. Being centrally located in South-East Asia, Vietnam is a hub for companies to set up production and trading facilities.
The mission will focus on Digital Economy, Logistics, Energy/Environment and Smart Construction.

• a visit of Binh Duong, an extensive network of integrated industrial parks and urban townships advocating sustainability;
• a Business Forum in Ho Chi Minh City with a keynote speech by H.E. Mr Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister;
• an official reception;
• many networking opportunities.
Luxembourg companies can register before 21 March 2023. Full programme details can be found here.
During the official visit of Vietnam’s prime minister Phạm Minh Chính to Luxembourg in December 2022, welcomed by Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, exchanges on relations between Luxembourg and Vietnam were marked by a desire on the part of both countries to strengthen their economic ties, among other things in the fields of logistics, green finance, as well as in the field of academia and research. The trade mission to Vietnam will build on this momentum with the aim to further strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
