The 5th edition of Pitch Your Start-up will take place on 21 May 2019. Local and international start-ups can already apply online to try to win the €100,000 prize. Participation is free of charge.
In September 2019, the University of Luxembourg will launch a two-year interdisciplinary Space Master programme. The aim of the programme is to generate a talent pool of highly skilled engineers and innovative entrepreneurs who will be able to create and manage leading commercial space enterprises.
The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) will provide expert support to a major Industry 4.0 project implemented by hard material products producer Ceratizit. In the context of a two-year partnership agreement, LIST's data analytics and artificial intelligence specialists will support the digital transformation of Ceratizit's development and manufacturing processes.
The company has put in place a system that makes its whole production process, from the moments clients ask for an offer until the final product is delivered, completely digital.
For the second consecutive year, Luxembourg’s start-up ecosystem will be represented at the international trade fair in Paris dedicated to new technologies which takes place in 100 days. This time, the country will have an even bigger pavilion and further highlight its assets.
The Chamber of Commerce of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in close cooperation with the Embassies of Peru, Chile, Colombia and Mexico will organise a seminar on doing business in the Pacific Alliance on Tuesday 26th of February 2019. The main purpose of this seminar is to develop new business opportunities between Luxembourg and the four countries (Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru) that are members of the Pacific Alliance, informing Luxembourg companies about the situation and trends of their markets, both in terms of international trade and investments, with special emphasis on sectors of particular relevance for the Luxembourg economy as well as those of the Pacific Alliance’s countries.
