Background

Organised by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in close cooperation with the Ministry of the Economy come and visit the Luxembourg pavilion at the Medica fair in Düsseldorf, a world leading medical trade fair and an international first for the medical technology supply sector.

In 2022, the fair welcomed over 81,000 visitors from various sectors of the global healthcare industry.  Network and explore mutual business opportunities with Luxembourg exhibiting companies.

Located in the heart of Europe, Luxembourg provides global companies with many strategic advantages for conducting their business successfully in, from and to Europe. The national presence at this fair underlines the Luxembourg government’s focus on healthcare and digital health technologies.

Luxembourg’s HealthTech vision

The global potential for digital innovations in the healthcare sector is immense and it will help make care more effective and efficient. Digital Health applications will certainly be a great advantage in this process. These Digital Health applications require „Big Data” approaches built on outstanding digital infrastructure and competencies, but also structural and process innovations. Therefore, ecosystems can accelerate the necessary changes by providing living labs and test beds to validate and showcase such solutions.
