The European Space Agency (ESA) is inviting 20 developers to its Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN) in Frascati, Italy, on 11-18 September 2017.
The goal of the Space App Camp is to produce mobile apps using Earth observation data on smartphones. In doing so, it focuses on leveraging the possibilities offered by the European Earth observation programme Copernicus, which became operational with the launch of the first Sentinel Satellite in April 2014.
Your participation of the App Camp will depend on the creativity of your previous works with regard to their content, usability, design, and underlying business concepts, so show us the best apps you’ve developed. All participants of the Space App Camp become part of the exclusive beta-user community of the Copernicus App Lab and can shape the way EO data will be accessed in the future.
Registration is open from 1 June – 22 July 2017.
