Since the end of 2015, the non-profit association Digital Inclusion, supported by the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grand-Duchesse Charlotte, the European Union Social Fund, the Luxembourg’s Ministry of Labour and the US Embassy, helps people in Luxembourg to get access to information technology and computing.
It also promotes the social inclusion of refugees through those new technologies.
As a major player in the economic landscape and carrying values such as integrity and initiative, Luxinnovation wished to join this initiative.
As part of the partial renewal of its computer equipment, the agency has offered its laptops arrived at the end of life.
This equipment benefits from a second life, since the Digital Inclusion’s refugee members actively participate in their rehabilitation in workshops organised with residents.
Weekly computer learning or computer-based language learning classes are also organised.
