Selected by Luxinnovation and the European American Enterprise Council, 8 start-ups along with Luxinnovation experts are currently at the Luxembourg pavilion at CES Vegas, one of the biggest tech show in the world drawing upwards of 200,000 professionals from January 9 to 12, 2018.

Jean-Michel Ludwig, Luxinnovation’s Director Start-up & SME performance in partnership with the European American Enterprise Council is currently in Vegas along with Laurence Hulin, our start-up advisor and Program Manager Fit4Start and Joost Ortjens, Luxinnovation’s Head of Sector Development Automotive to meet, greet and amaze investors who are interested in some of the great innovations that Luxembourg has to offer.

 

The Luxembourg stand composed of 8 Luxembourg start-ups includes:

  • Aiva Technologies, an artificial intelligence musical platform that won the 2017 edition of the Pitch Your Start-up contest
  • CarPayDiem, enabling motorists to pay electronically for fuel at the petrol pump and which won the Luxembourg 2017 Fintech Awards
  • CoinPlus, a virtual currency exchange platform
  • Fundsquare, a subsidiary of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, dedicated to the cross-border distribution of investment funds
  • PostmiiCard, a mobile application to allow tourists to print their photos and make real postcards
  • Virtelio, virtual reality software movie firm
  • VR Time Travel, an exciting virtual reality (VR) city tour firm
  • Motion-S that won the first edition of the Mind & Market forum in Luxembourg

Among the lucky eight are Fundsquare, a subsidiary of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, dedicated to the cross-border distribution of investment funds.

Luxembourg’s reputation is building as a serious contender on the global map of start-up and tech countries. Through this event, Luxembourg and Luxinnovation hope to attract more innovative projects and to engage in more conversations with foreign entrepreneurs and well established businesses to increase foreign direct investment.
