Max Koune will enter the close circle of Luxembourgish CEOs who manage a large company abroad. The board of directors of Canadian food giant, McCain Foods, has unanimously appointed Luxembourger, Max Koeune, as president and CEO of the group from November onwards.

Mr. Koeune joined McCain Foods as Chief Financial Officer in 2012 and through his leadership, financial management has greatly progressed. He has played a lead role in the development and delivery of a very successful global growth and transformation strategy, organically and through acquisitions.

Mr. Koeune commented “I am honoured to be selected to lead this great company. McCain Foods’ performance has gone from strength to strength in recent years. I am dedicated to continuing this transformational journey and driving for the results that I know McCain can realize.”
