On 12 October, at the initiative of Luxinnovation, the Chamber of Skilled Crafts and the EEN network, the third Innovation Club session of the year was held as a webinar. The topic this time was innovation management.
When we talk about innovation, it is often the notions of creativity and spontaneity that come to mind. Less often those of rules or processes.
However, it is important for a company to know how to plan, manage and control its innovation activities in order to implement its ideas in an optimal manner.
“Innovation management aims to move from ‘accidental’ innovation to a managed and controlled innovation activity,” explains Claude Hostert, Senior Advisor – SME Performance at Luxinnovation. “There are several dimensions within a company that need to be mastered to be sure of being able to innovate successfully.”
