With over 100,000 participants, including 9,000 start-ups and almost 2,000 investors, VivaTech has become a key event in the world of start-ups and innovation. It offers an excellent opportunity to showcase Luxembourg’s expansive start-up ecosystem and connect with entrepreneurs who are looking for a good base for developing their business ventures and launching commercial activities on the European market.

The Chamber of Commerce with its House of Startups has therefore once again joined forces with the Ministry of the Economy and Luxinnovation to be in Paris on 16-18 May and show what Luxembourg has to offer to dynamic start-ups. The organisers of the national pavilion will also give eight young companies the opportunity to present their offering to the international audience attending the fair.

Selected start-ups

BIM-Y uses three innovative technologies – digitalisation, big data and the sharing of information – to increase the lifetime of buildings. By creating a network of buildings, the solution allows building managers to share experience of maintenance operations and create collective intelligence on the most efficient and cost-effective actions to take.

Clickbye has developed an app for finding the right travel destination and booking flights, accommodation and activities in a matter of seconds. Using a preselection algorithm, the app shows the 3-5 most suitable options depending on users’ interests and budget.

Coinplus provides secure crypto-currency solutions for safeguarding crypto-assets such as Bitcoin, Ripple or Litecoin. The solution is based on a physical devise that is used to secure access codes without any internet connection.

The communication and collaboration tool Keexle encrypts any type of file end-to-end, which means that they can only be decrypted by the sender and the receiver. This makes it possible to upload and send highly sensitive files by e-mail or over the internet.

Moovee helps companies offer shared mobility solutions to their employees. The company’s app makes it easy to manage a fleet of shared cars, bikes and scooters. Moovee also supports its clients with composing and financing their multimodal fleet and with maintaining the vehicles.

MySardines has developed a crypto-currency based on vintage sardines. One unit of its currency, Sard, corresponds to one tin of vintage sardines and its value can increase over time.

Startalers offers financial advice targeting women with the aim of helping them become financially independent. Its services include training, the development of a personalised action plan, support provided by a network of users and advice on investments with a positive social impact.

Zero.1 works on the development of LiFi, a wireless communication technology that uses light to transmit data and position between devices. The company’s Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology provides LiFi through smartphone devices.

The space rover developed by iSpace will also be presented on the stand.
