Circuit Foil develops, produces and markets high-quality copper foil. Its products are distributed from the company’s headquarters in Luxembourg. Based in Wiltz, the company employs around 300 people and is strongly focused on research and innovation.

On 12 February 2020, Luxembourg Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot announced that Circuit Foil will be increasing its production capacity in Wiltz with an investment of €36.5 million. The investment will make it possible for the company to increase its production with around 30% and launch further activities on the infrastructure market in fields such as antennas, base stations and 5G technology captures. Circuit Foil will also develop its products and connected objects for the use of autonomous vehicles.

“Today, we see that demand is increasing and we are also anticipating the development of 5G. Our copper sheets will be found in many 5G products, but also in autonomous cars,” said CEO Fabienne Bozet to business magazine Paperjam. This strategically important investment is also a clear sign of the confidence in the Luxembourg operations given by Circuit Foil’s mother company, Doosan.
