The call is open to Luxembourg-based clinicians and researchers working in different biomedical institutions and must include investigators from at least two of the five PMC institutes. Priority will be given to novel and innovative projects which are trans-disciplinary. All application forms should be completed and submitted to pmc@ibbl.lu by 15 October 2017.

The fund is an initiative launched in 2014 by the founding members of the PMC in an effort to solve unmet clinical needs, foster interactions between Luxembourg-based research institutes and hospitals, and help researchers collect the preliminary data required to apply for national and EU funding.

The institutes behind the PMC and the Pump Prime Fund, IBBL (Integrated BioBank of Luxembourg), the LIH (Luxembourg Institute of Health), the LCSB (Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine), the Laboratoire National de Santé (LNS), and the Life Sciences Research Unit (LSRU) of the University of Luxembourg (UNI), provide the funding for up to three successful projects per call edition.
