For this 2018 edition of Vivatechnology event, the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Ministry of the Economy, Luxinnovation and the House of Startups decided to be present at this fair with a national pavilion that will represent a meeting point for Luxembourgish companies during this three-day event. Thanks to this participation, Luxembourg companies will also be able to benefit from “visitors” entrance tickets at a preferential rate. Also, a networking reception in the presence of the Luxembourg Ambassador in Paris, Martine Schommer, will be organized on the evening of May 24 and open to Luxembourg participants.
Vivatech challenges
The aim of the Luxembourg National Pavilion is to be the meeting place for all Luxembourg visitors attending the show (Startup, SMEs and Large Enterprises combined). It will also showcase Luxembourg and more specifically its startups ecosystem. In this context, several advantageous participation opportunities are offered to companies:
- Entry ticket at preferential rate: By registering via the Chamber of Commerce, you can obtain a reduced entry ticket of 100 €. Due to the limited number of tickets available, please note that the “first come, first served” rule will apply.
- Guided tour of the show: In addition to the ticket at preferential rate, the Chamber of Commerce offers to participate in a guided tour of the show.
- Official Networking Reception: A networking reception in the presence of the Luxembourg Ambassador to Paris, Martine Schommer, is scheduled for the evening of 24 May and open to all Luxembourg participants.
- Discounted hotel: The Chamber of Commerce has also reserved a contingent of rooms at a preferential rate of 180 €/night (including VAT, breakfast not included) at the Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse **** hotel located nearby the Porte de Versailles. (The number of rooms is limited and the rule of “First come, first served” will be applied. To reserve a room, please use the dedicated form which will be provided to you by the Chamber of Commerce).
Participation is open to all companies affiliated to the Chamber of Commerce as well as startups hosted in a Luxembourg incubator. Each participant will be in charge of transportation. In case of sufficient interest, a bus group transport could be organized on Thursday 24 May. Further information on the recommended transports is available in the attached provisional program.
