For more than 70 years, ISO (International Organization for Standardization) has been working on the development and implementation of international standards, thereby supporting innovation and providing solutions to global challenges.
Experts from around the world, representing the major players in their respective sectors, meet regularly to advance these standards, taking into account technological and societal developments.

Functional Safety Group – ISO TC22/SC32/WG8 meeting

In October, Luxembourg will host the work of the Functional Safety Group – ISO TC22/SC32/WG8, which is working on the new ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 safety standards.

This work aims to develop a unified safety standard for all automotive electrical and electronic systems. It standardises their development and validation at the system, hardware and software levels and makes it possible to evaluate the security level of developed products once they are operational on the road.
